Maladaptive- John was aggressive when he pushed his wife and he thought it was her that he was pushing in his head. This is agressive and harmful to her.
Unjustifiable- The people he saw in his head were hallucinations and it was hard to explain them because he was schizophrenic.
Atypical- John hears people in his head also and this is not normal. You don't hear things normally in your head and their not talking to you.
Disturbing- When John would talk to himself, this was disturbing and not normal functioning. It was hard for him to be socially accepted with this too.
